Oh, The Joys of Blogging
Well to begin I would just to say that this makes me feel extremely hip. I can't quite decide my feelings about blogging. Although I will say that I can see how this would be a very effective way to communicate personal feelings and ideas. As I begin to blog the most difficult part of blogging is writing coherently. My ideas are so very sporadic that I am finding it hard to put them together in a way that is easy to follow and comprehend. I was very surprised by how easy it is to set up the blog account itself. After creating this blog I now can understand why people use these as outlets for their emotions or observations. A blog makes me feel so detached from what I am saying so when I write I can simply write exactly how I feel rather than sugar coating my feelings. But since this is an English blogs obviously I won't really being expressing those raw emotions. I will be more focused on the task at hand, such as reflecting upon creating this blog. So in reflection I see the simplicity of the blog and admire it because in it's pure simplicity there lies beauty. Beauty in the fact that anyone in the WORLD can read this post and comment upon it with simple click of button. But within that statement there is a contradiction. The click of the button is simple, but the fact that this is a network that anyone can access is very complex. The intricate connections between all of these computers that we are using is the farthest thing from simple. So maybe what you clicked on to navigate to this blog was simple but in all reality what truly occurred when you clicked that link was very complex. To conclude I would like to say that I have greatly enjoyed this, even though I have pretty much confused myself with my own writing.

You confused me too. I've the same feeling here. Constantly criticized people for doing something like this but it turns out that it is enjoyable
ReplyDeleteConfusing writing is great, though.
ReplyDeleteYou actually have to stop, think about, and try to understand what is being said.
